Will you be home for the clean or have you provided us with entry instructions?
Clear surfaces and floors of clutter
Secure valuables and fragile items
Ensure accessibility by unlocking rooms and leaving doors open to the rooms you want us to clean. Our team will not enter rooms with closed doors unless it is noted in your account to do so.
Manage Pets and Children (keep out of way of cleaners and equipment)
Kitchen
Store perishable food, clear countertops
Empty and clean appliances thoroughly
Remove items from stovetop and kitchen floor
Remove items from inside cabinets that are being cleaned
Empty sinks, dishwashers (we can clear sink and load dishwasher if this is a specified extra)
Bathrooms
Clear countertops and toilets
Remove items from shower/tub areas
Clear bathroom floors and corners
Remove items from inside cabinets that are being cleaned
Flush all toilets and ensure no bodily fluids are present
Bedrooms
Put away clothing and personal items
Organize nightstands and dressers; clear surfaces
Remove shoes and clear bedroom floor
Clean inside closets and organize belongings
Additional Considerations
Inform the cleaning team about specific areas of concern
Ensure selected extras (i.e. Appliance Deep Cleans) are communicated to the cleaning team
